Online Therapy
Online therapy provides easy access to counseling services and reduces the stigma by receiving treatment from the privacy of your home. Research supports the effectiveness and demonstrates no significant difference between in-person session and telehealth session when treating mental heath disorders.
We provide counseling services for adolescents and adults in California through a virtual platform provided by simple practice.

Headway manages everything related to payments and insurance to make things as easy as possible for you.

Please provide 48-hour notice of appointment cancellation. Cancellations made in less than 48 hours prior to the appointment time or missing an appointment without notice of cancellation will incur a late/cancellation fee of $125.

Individualized Therapy
Individual therapy is a process where clients work one-on-one with a trained therapist to explore their feelings, or behaviors affecting their mood or daily life. There are many reasons why patient seek out counseling services, from dealing with severe or long-term stress from their job, family problems, major life challenges, childhood trauma, the loss of a loved one or relationship, health issues, and simply desiring personal growth.

Family Therapy
Family therapy provides family members with communication tools, effective parenting styles, and provides insight on how your unique family functions within the family system.
Therapy session consists of identifying family’s strengths and utilize it to problem solve family stressors. Subsequently, family members will identify unproductive behaviors and may need to choose to change their behavior to strengthen the family system.
Family Therapy is a very active type of therapy, and family members are often given assignments. For example, parents might be asked to delegate more responsibility, adaptive healthier parenting styles that fit your family needs, engage in family activities, and problem solve together. There are times when not all members of the family attend each session.
.The number of sessions required varies depending on severity of the problems and willingness of the members participation in therapy. The family and the therapist set mutual goals and discuss the length of time expected to achieve the goals.
