Welcome!
Have you ever wondered what is happening inside your brain when you’re feeling anxious, panicked, or worried? Have you ever wondered why your brain ruminates or dwells on the negative and you just can’t seem to stop your thoughts? Have you ever wondered why you have such a strong reaction to certain situations or feel that there is something wrong with you because you think or feel differently? As it turns out, the amygdala and cortex part of the brain are not only trying to protect you but are also driven by core beliefs that begin forming in early childhood that influences our personality, decision making, our relationships, and mental health. It is astonishing that emotions have the power to rob a person of their capacity to complete basic activities of life. With each interaction I am inspired to create a safe environment where it gives me the opportunity to plant a seed, in the hopes of growing and blooming, making a difference in a person’s journey in life. If we all took the time to look inward and start healing, we can open abridge towards self-compassion, acceptance, and regain control of our emotions. I offer a unique evidence-based solution to overcoming difficult emotions and working in a collaborative relationship to work towards a fully engaging life.
“We are the heroes of our own story, only we have the power to change ourselves.” – Stefanie Zargarbashi
